Coldness wakes me up at 5:30
It seems to me that my sleeping-bag is too thin.
Yesterday,I lost my way (looking for the sports-park)
This morning I should walk back 2km for Konsenji-temple #3.
It was fine and refreshing breeze. Easy waliking.
from #3 to #4,passing the country side,3km
The whitesignal informs me the "henro"way.
Dainichiji-temple #4.
Calm place. I took a rest.
walked 2km, Jizoji-temple #5.
Then I went to post office.
I sent back unnecessary things.
white-vest,aluminium-bottle,harmonica,towel,etc.
with light backpack,it's easy to walk.
Walk along "henro"way for #6 ,there were many cherry blossoms.
It was time for lunch.
I ate "UDON" (Japanese wheat noodles)
Shikoku is the region where we can eat "the most delicious UDON in Japan".
and it is inexpensive,easy todigest.
best lunch for poor backpackers.
Then,I find a Shinto Shrine,
I did "HANAMI" (watching flowers),drinking beer.
Today, everywhere I go,I see cherry blossoms.Happy day!
Anrakuji-temple #6 was under rebuilding,no photo.
Jurakuji-temple #7
Then I walked 2.5km ,arrived at spa.
heal my legs.
2km further, I find sports-park.
sleep under the arbor.
today
from ITANO
to DONARI
about 20km
Temples #3 #4 #5 #6 #7

For once in my life Day1
I traveled sometimes.
By car,moto,bicycle,hitchhike.
But it was first time for me "walking tour"
Day 1. it was fine.
9:30, I arrived North-Naruto bus-stop.
Gand-Naruto Bridge.
Here,Shikoku. There,Awaji-island
I want to see "Uzushio of Naruto" (Sea swirl)
Under the roadway of the bridge, there is a pedestrian pass.
Walk above the Sea
But at that time,it was out of season.
The swirls were small.
Then I walked to Naruto-station.
So fine day.
"SAKURA" (cherry blossoms)were in full bloom!
Cycling road was calm. I'm glad.
From Naruto-st. to Bando-st. I took a train.
From here, pilgrimage road starts.
Walked 600m from Bando,arrived #1 Ryozenji-temple.
There were many rookie pilgrims, me too.
I bought "Byakue" (white vest of pilgrim)
and "Sugegasa" (sedge hat)
Then, walked 1.4km, #2 Gokurakuji-temple.
it was 17:00
I must look for a place "sleep in the open"
it is economy
But that day, I was slow of perception.
When I found sports-park,it was quite dark.
I was quite tired.
Very cold night, I wore all my clothes.
Whith a sleeping-bag and mat,
I slept under the eaves.
from Bando-station
to Itano
walked about 5km
#1 Ryozenji-temple
#2 Gokurakuji-temple
